Technical Requirements

• Strong knowledge of VoIP standards and technologies in general
• Decoding signaling protocols like SIP, H.323, SCCP, MGCP, etc
• Implementing various Voice Codecs including G.723.1, G.729, G.726, G.711, MSGSM, etc.
• Knowledge of IP network packet sniffing and decoding voice signals.
• Strong knowledge of Computer Telephony Interfacing (CTI) and voice recording using Analog, Digital and VoIP telephones.
• Programming Client/Server and web based applications under Microsoft Windows platform (Win32)
• Strong knowledge on Microsoft COM based component technologies
• Development experience with Microsoft development tools, in general, and primarily with VC++, ATL, MFC and Visual Basic.
• Strong knowledge on Programming languages like C, C++, VB and scripts like VB Script, Java Script, HTML, XML and ASP.
• Database programming using Microsoft SQL Server

Educational / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering degree or MCA / equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years experience in VoIP and telephony based software development

Responsibilities

This position will primarily be involved in software design and development on REVCORD’S Voice Logging product. Includes architecting, designing, developing and maintaining VoIP based recording, analog and digital telephone voice recording, fixes and support. Responsibilities include managing a team of developers, High Level / Low Level software design, coding, testing, and software releases.
