FutureNow Technologies partners with Punjab Printing Press, Punjab Examination Commission and the United Nations Company wins possibly the largest document scanning and digitization project in Pakistan

FutureNow Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. www.tfntech.com, a leading provider of information technology solutions, announced today that it has started work on the scanning and digitization project for grade 5 and 8th in collaboration with Punjab Printing Press, Punjab Examination Commission and the United Nations.

An estimated 2 million children from 35 different districts in Punjab would be appearing for their grade 5 and 8th exam this year. It would be a challenge to handle and process the estimated 14 million answer sheets generated from the exercise.

FutureNow Technologies is using FutureNow Invent; a fully automated solution developed for barcode based inventory management and workflow tracking to keep tabs on the papers moving through the entire process. FutureNow currently has the capacity to scan and process 0.5 million pages a day; handle data entry for over a million pages a day and store over 7 million pages on its facility located with over 10,000 square feet.

FutureNow offers 99.99 % data entry accuracy with double entry processes, independent quality assurance procedures and random quality audits. Nearly 200 resources would be working around the clock in three shifts to deliver this on time.

FutureNow DScan Pro would be used for actual scanning, optical mark recognition, data entry and result generation for data which would be an estimated 6 Terabytes.
